Fog light switch / Beeper

Odd one this morning;

Rear fog light came on of its own accord (switch illuminated), push switch off, stayed off for 10 - 15 secs and came back on.

Tried this a few times and it kept coming back on.

Turned lights off and on to see if that would reset it which it did for a while but did come back again of its own accord.

Eventually fog light stayed off but now 'beeping' happens when indicating left (only) or when hazards are on. Beep sounds like key in warning when doors are open. Beep also happened when locking car on remote fob (indicators flash).

Car left like this for now... of course it may have cleared itself when I go back but any thoughts in the meantime or anyone experienced similar?

Beeping while indicating actually seemed to be alarm speaker related, it stopped doing it all on the way home so hopefully it was just a transient thing...

You may find that the windscreen is leaking and water is going down the A post and soaking all those relays and connectors, worth checking.

Yes, plan to have a rummage around this weekend since it's back again this morning.... :S

Any tips on pulling out the switches and accessing the switch block where the fog light switches are?

On the way home tonight lost the following....

Instrument lights (not actual indicator lights in the cluster)
Sidelights F/R
Foglights F/R

Headlights, interior lights, brake lights, mirrors switch, a/c, radio etc ok

with such an apparently random / spurious set of issues - wonder if it just down to a general grounding/earth problem
