Passenger door removal

Has anyone got any top tips for swapping over a passenger door and all it's bits. I've found a replacement door which is being sold as a bare door so I need to swap all the bits onto it. Hanging the door looks straight forwards but was curious about the window regulator and the glass.
The lesson learnt is before driving down something it's better to get out and look first.......whoops!!!!
