A liftkit or seperate orders was created by Dutchjimny
I need some advise.. i was window shopping at ora and saw the 3"lift kit for 1245
they say you get 4shocks 4springs 4arms set of brake hoses Adjustable panhardrods a prop spacer and 2 rear lower coil spring clamps (whatever they are?)
When shopping at jimnybits i can get these parts for about 800..
(these kits are both without a steeringdamper)
Whats the biggest difference between them? im not the biggest offroader there is so i certainly dont need the best of the best..
And do i need the panhard relocation bracket when I have the new adjustable panhard rods?
the same for the rear shock relocation brackets.. when i have the corrected arms
And whats the difference between gas and oil shocks?
Thank you very much

Both Jimnybits (Rus - Bluejimny) and Off-road Armory (Rob - g187eev) visit this forum.
I am happy that they answer the specifics of their own offerings.

I think ORA are one of the best kits you can get. Meant more for the serious offroader but iam sure its still just as happy on a more road based car. If i had the money i would have bought there kit.
I went for parts from Jimnybits. Things is you dont realy need all the bits offord in the ORA kit, initialy, to lift your Jimny and still have a good off roader. You can add those bits later if you want. If you do use Jimnybits he is very reliable and helpful. I was impressed with quality and it all went on fine. For me it came down to cost mainly. Cheaper to buy bit by bit than all in one go.
I also used "Bits4vits" and "KAP Suzuki". Generaly all the Suzuki websites are good.
. Hope this helps.

I would look a bit closer at the ORA kit as it includes a bit more than you have mentioned which when you look at each item's individual price makes it seem a bit more of a complete package.
Look at things like the rear arms being included, prop spacer, panhard rods with rose joints!,longer brake hoses etc. These are the items I think you have not looked at.
As has been said though, you can live without some of this stuff. I currently run 3" higher and have standard arms with no prop spacer - I have 3" lifting springs, shocks, brake hoses and panhard rods. My truck has been like this for years with no issues.
My truck could be better though and to improve it I would get the bits in the ORA kit. It might come down to if you can afford it all at once or if you want to get the basics and improve it over time.
You pays your money, you makes your choice.
Jimnybits stuff is good stuff to so I am led to believe, so it's all down to personal choice.

I think you guys are at the right end and it maybe better to purchase it all at once.. it comes as a complete package, does anyone know if the price after "Rocktober" will be the same? and the free bumper is it the standart one? still got 2 weeks to think about it
