Anyone removed / replaced the plastic wheel arch trim (exterior). I've read the 'how to' on trimming the wheel arches, but it just seems to say pull 'em off - is there a better way to do it so they can be replaced? Thanks

I don't think there is and you will probably brake a few clips (I did anyway) and the thing is a bit loose now probably because as well as the broken clips they also have a less support.

Just be patience and pull it off gently one by one .... best advice I can give anyway ...

I took mine off with a plasma cutter! The plastic more or less fell off and the underlying metal arch soon followed!

I need to find / make a 125mm wide arch though to cover the tyres!

Mine came off and went back on without breaking, I had to lie underneath and remove the sill part first, then there were some bolts and expanding rivets before the arches would pop off.

I likely slid a credit card between the arch and wing, then used a flat screwdriver to pop the fasteners.

The arch is stuck with a sort of double sided foam to keep water from running down the wing behind it. Mine isn't now

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Thanks for all the responses - as you'll probably have guessed, I had a go over the weekend - just took my time and pulled it off. What I found tended to happen, is that the clips disconnect on the plastic trim side and stay firm into the wing panel - with a bit of patience and a small screwdriver you can prise the clips out of the wing - most can be reused, but I'll have to go get myself a few to replace the broken ones!
