That's a good find, it's a shame it's not off something we have in every UK breakers yard like a Mondeo or something!
Nonetheless it savers some messing about. Won't be cheap though as you'd have to buy new and I would only buy OE.
My Mrs' step father could probably get them from his supplier as he is a starter and alternator rebuilder. I definitely wouldn't want to know how much Toyota charge!

would be interested in doing it but would rather someone with a few more fabricating skills than my self had a go first and posted some better pics and a guide

They supply all kinds of Alternators, mostly to the trade but will likely have an equivalent. They are very good value too!
