jimny rear door softtop clips

can any one advise me which way round the clips on rear door that hold the bottom horizontal
bar in place of the softtop in place ,its the type with the the zipped side windows leather
ive replaced all three ,i cannot figure if the problem is shrinkage in the softop making them tight to clip down or fitted wrong way round, any diagrams or photo help if possible thanks everyone

I have a monsoon soft top now but still have the old clip here's a photo of a clip and the right way to fit them as it in the photos.

I'd bet on shrinkage. It has always been a bugga with the original setup. Many people down here in Oz fit the elastic toneau restrainers that clip over a lug on the door.
