Been thinking of lifting the Jimny.. not too high, maybe 1.5" to 2" .. enough to give good clearance for the 215rx15's.
Bits 4 Vits seem a good Quality kit .. but without having a garage or the fabrication facilities to hand, before undertaking these kind of modifications.
From what I have read, the fitting of the lift is easy .. but im a little concerned about having to extend the steering column / bend the gear / transfer levers.
I gather I also need extended brake pipes too ...
Has anyone else done this ? have any useful hints / Tips ?

If its just a small lift you are after, I can recommend these Bits4Vits spring spacers.

Were already running a +2" lift .. longer springs / procomp 3000's
Need to get more body clearance as tyres catch on full compression

I have fitted a body lift!!
I used the Off Road Armoury kit on mine and is a good kit
I didn't have to bend the gearleaver on mine but at somepoint i will
extend it so it is more to hand again!!
I don't have a transfer lever so i can't comment on that.
The steering is easy to extend all you do is cut the shat in half
where it is erm Ribbed
and weld in the 2" spacer it really is
foolproof.
To put the spacer blocks in use a scissor jack beetween the chassis and
the body like this
Hope this help's

If you are only after a small body lift what you can do is take to rubber bushes from under you body mounts and put them inbetween the body and chassis I will take a photo of what I mean tomorrow. If you look at one of your mount you should be able to see what I mean.

I can vouch for Daves service (Bits4Vits), ive had couple of bits off him now, all came next day(hub tool, spare wheel spacer). I had a hub tool that broke a pin and he had a new one with me quickly too. Does excellent lightweight mini shovels too , great for shifting snow!
