Steering wobble finally sorted was created by Collins
Well, since all the wheels were off I decided to move the front ones to the back. No more wobble. Don't know why. Balances were checked and it still wobbled. Must be something to do with tyre wear? Who cares - the wobble has finally gone (for now anyway). The only thing left to change was the leading arm bushes so that can wait for a bit now.

I had a oddly worn front which i changed for the spare wobble disappeared the wobble caused the wear so I suspect that when you fix the problem wheel bearings or kingpins maybe to get the benefit the tyres need to be changed if there is any uneven wear. either that or the wheel is out of true.

Try a set of remoulded extreme tyres and you'll know what wobble is all about!!!
Although my Malatesta Kaiman's aren't too bad.

Got a steering damper from Rhino Ray today - it looks like it could stop a tank wobbling!

i think whats really funny about the Jimny DW (Death Wobble) is that i have done everything to rid it .. but its still there (not as bad as it was before I changed everything at the front ... )
i digress, the funny thing was that Martin went on holiday (Ibiza i think) he rented a Jimny (i think he said it was almost new) .... and even "it" had the dreaded DW.
Sort of puts it into perspective!
Some Jimny's have the DW some dont.

Have you changed the front trailing arm chassis end bush for the new spec Suzuki one? I don't know what the difference is but it certainly helped to cure the dw on mine.
Part no. 46213-76J00
Maybe worth a try - I feel that if Suzuki have gone to the trouble of issuing a new part as part of their dw cure 'kit' there must be a reason. The other part is 0.5mm shims under a separate part number, but cheaper from Martin.
I think there must be more written about dw than any other subject!
