HELP :( was created by bertbuckie
My jimny is dying :(
I got the back all welded ( I will upload pics one day ) and painted the entire inside ( under carpet, plastics.... the lot :) )
And had a good look under the bonnet at the rust by the headlights :(
It seems that there is a hole the size of my fist to the side of the passengers headlight..... right next to the front body mounting.... and the other sides similar but not as bad.
From looking at it you cant just unbolt the front piece that its on, or the bit to the inside of the headlights.
I am going to get a professional welder to take a look but I am sceptical if it will cost more than the cars worth broken..... be a real shame to break her :(
Anyone got any tips or anyone elses the same ?

Dont stress fella :) :)
A good welder should sort this out for you
in a few hours
i had fist size holes about 3" from the front
body mounts (out riggers ) and it took me
about a hour a side, The slow bit is cleaning
up all the new black crap you have just
sprayed on it. Its not ready for the scrap yard just yet
Chin up old boy.:P :P

Fix able YEP
can you plate up the hole and rub down the
other bits it looks like the bits on the seams
is just surface rust.
Then give it all a good couple of coats of red oxide
