After having both rear wheel bearings renewed today, found that it may need the clutch replacing, makes a terrible noise as you put it into gear, goes off when released! its a 2001 model, with the M13A engine fitted, only used for soft offroading for shooting purposes, so only need a normal clutch, nothing big and tough, what would people recommend, seen some on Ebay for about £60+, are these suitable??
Cheers

I can't offer any advice regarding the ones on ebay. I'd call a your local motor factors and get a price to compare though, maybe ask the ebay seller what brand it is too if it doesn't state it.

I had a clutch fitted about 18months ago just a standard replacement and they only use branded parts. All in £270. Its taken some abuse too, it had some hammer a few weeks back trying to climb onto a rock i'd been on minutes before. I tow quite often with it and often upto its unbraked limit. I recently towed my mates dead xsara a few miles too. Occassionally it slips a little if i'm a bit sloppy with the gearchange but it may just need adjusting.
I'd say a standard replacement will be more than up to the job for your requirements

I would imagine that you'd get a QH or LUK if you had it fitted anyway so i'd not expect any issues with either. My local factors sell the Quinton hazell stuff as do most i would guess.

Just make sure it is either of those when it arrives and that its not a cheap copy in a branded box.
