Eyup everyone ,I got in my Jimny this morning and the heater will only blow cold air ??

Has this happened to anyone else, is it a common fault ? or what could it be???

Could be minor, ie thermostat or a matrix blockage or similar.
Worse the head is feced.

yep sounds like the stat, simple fix. If your top hose is getting warm slowly its stuck open, if its not getting hot at all its stuck shut of course. It should be cold then suddenly get hot once the stat opens, you can test them in water but once its out to do that you may as well throw a new one in.

Usual problem with "instant heater fail" is someone has kicked and broken (or dislodged) the plastic actuator on the side of the heater under the dashboard, handily positioned just where you can kick it.
