Snorkel for post 2005 Jimny was created by Chris_26
Hello, I used to have a 54 plate jimny with a 3'' lift, snorkel, all the kit you can imagine but sold it..............
I'm about to buy a 2005 vvt Jimny and do a bit of gentle modifying (went way too far with my old one and made it a nightmare to drive anywhere but offroad) and am wondering if the TJM snorkel will fit the new engine (it looks v similar to the old one......). Also has anyone had any issues with the push button 4wd? I wanted to get a pre-facelift model to get the 2nd lever rather than a button now I'm not so sure..
Any help is appreciated!

The TJM catalogue states that it only fits up to October 2005, which I guess is when the VVT engine appears.
However, the only part of the car it connects to is the airbox, so if the airbox is the same shape and size and is in the same location then I cannot see why it will not fit.

I would go for an older vehicle so as to get one without ABS!!!
Just a thought.
