I have finally found a diff to fit my car. The guy is in manchester and im in bromley southeast london. He was happy to post the complete axle to me but he is getting quotes of £200+ Do any of you guys use a delivery service for heavy goods or know of a good company?
Does anyone know how long a front axle is? and a rough idea on its weight?

Brother in law has a van and lives in Westerham near Bromley, makes occasional trips up to Liverpool but no idea when he is next up. Could investigate further if you are not in a crazy rush.

There's a front axle on ebay at the moment in Essex; maybe closer for you?

Ah, sorry. You could contact the seller anyway and find out what shipping service they're using to quote £60 shipping.

try looking on places that buy/sell wholesale and see what service they use :)

A lot of people are moving heavy stuff via shiply.com ?- a kind of online dutch auction where hauliers compete for part load/ back loads and things that are expensive to send other than on the back of a truck, no experience of it but maybe worth googling

Hi,
I've used Madex several times and they are good and cheap, and also working with Palletways. Here is a link to their site: www.madexlogistics.co.uk/
Hope this will be useful :)

I found Shiply were trouble! Once someone accepts the job, you have no control or tracking. The thing we had picked up did turn up eventually but not quickly.

We use Eezehaul 0845 054 0023 who are very good value and very reliable.
