I have been thinking about these for a while, and with the Gen4 being quite a retro shape, thought they would look good if done correctly.

I saw this pop up on this Gen2 as an example. Anyone know what the proper name is and if any are available for the Gen4?

Something like this?

The only thing that might be questionable is how legal it is in the UK? Does it restrict visibility out of the windscreen? Would it pass an MOT?

Here, there are a couple of traffic lights that I would not be able to see if I was the first car at the light.

I always stop just before the traffic light disappears from view above the screen or behind the A pillar when there isn't a repeater over the junction.
The cars behind must wonder why I'm so far back, no doubt they'd be wondering why I hadn't started off on green if I rolled any closer!

I used to have a visor on my old Series IIA Safari, it didn't affect the view of the road, only the sky. It also kept the rain off the windscreen when standing, apart from where the water collected and drained down.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Hi James, I had seen that one a while ago. But I don't like the look of the bumps of the fixings, I have seen similar on Transit vans and the like. They don't seem to stand out as much on something bigger, but they spoil the look on something as small as the Jimny.
