Hi all,
I hope this message finds you all well. My partner has longed for a Jimny, but the lack of stock has slowed the process.
We are due to get married this year, May 9th, and she said she didn't want to get a wedding car for the journey to the venue. I have reached out to Suzuki about renting a Jimny for the day, but as mentioned the lack of stock has meant they cannot help.
I would gladly pay for, ensure all insurances were sorted and I got your car fully valeted and clean for the day and maybe some ribbon for the bonnet?
Happy to work out the details closer to the time, but would anyone be interested in helping out for our wedding? We are based in Bristol and are getting married between Bristol and Bath. The trip from the hotel to the venue is approximately 10 minutes.
Soph loves the bright yellow Jimny, but any colour would make the day.
Apologies admins, of I have broken any rules, with this post, but hopefully someone could help us out.
Cheers,
Callum

I think this is so sweet. I genuinely think we as a community need to help with this. I would offer bellerophon except being in north Yorkshire makes Bristol effectively a 3 day trip also being a farm car I suspect that any valet service will take personal offence at having their professionalism questioned by the state of my car. However I'm not the only yellow jimny on here or in the country so let's try and help make someone's special day just a little more unforgettable.

Good morning Lambert!
Thanks for the reply mate, really appreciated.
Yes, north Yorkshire is one helluva a commute! Ha!
Hopefully someone a bit closer to Bristol/South West would be on board?!
Cheers,
Callum

Callum,
Can I just check on your request,
You say "from the hotel to the venue". How many people are you expecting to carry, i.e. Bride + Brides father etc.
Its just that some Jimnys have only 2 seats (Driver + One Passenger), some have 4 seats and two doors (Driver, Passenger and two athletic passengers) and some have 4 seats and 4 doors (Driver and 3 passengers).

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your response and apologies I wasn't more specific.
If I'm honest, I wasn't aware the Jimny came in so many variants!
We assumed it would be the 2 door model with the 4 seats. I didn't realise you could get it in 2 seater as well.
It would just be Soph (the bride) and her dad in the car. From the new models that we've seen over the last 18 months, the back was quite small and I didn't think it would be great for a bride to climb in to and, probably, out of! 😅
My thoughts were, that her dad would drive her (if Soph had her way, she would drive herself in a Jimny! 😅) and then the Jimmy owner could follow behind with Sophs mum or someone else on route to the venue.
The bridal party are getting ready in a hotel near by and then its a couple of miles to the venue from there. Hopefully get a few photos with Soph and then that would be it. An hour, maybe 2 of someone's time?
Cheers,
Callum
