This is why I love the Jimny. In all its years from the LJ, SJ, Gen 3 & 4 its never really changed from what it is. Its kind of crazy that the design concept for the jimnys we drive today sparks back to the late 60s early 70s. 

I don't agree with the comment about it not being suited to an urban city enviroment despite it winning the award. They are great for driving around town. Easy to park, can bounce on/off curbs without damage, Ulez complient etc, great down narrow roads etc.

I think they make a great little town car, small, high seating position, good all round visibility.

If they made one with with all round independent suspension, just 2WD. I think that would suit a lot more owners, and it should be lighter and cheaper too. Perfect town car!

Edit: I realise that sounds like sacrilege to a lot of people!

i had an Ignis SZ5 before my latest Jimny and it was an exceptional town car, but was also 4grip, for the occasional farm track.

2024 LCV in Brisk Blue.
Falken 215/75/15 tyres on Suzuki alloys.
Rear speakers & AUX cable.
Bilstein shocks with H&R springs.
