Hi all,
I recently got a 05 jimny with electronic 4wd controls, but also has had manual hubs attached when i got it. It still will not go into 4wd, i get no warning lights or anything on the dash when i try to engage the 4wd. Ive tired to look at videos but trouble is im not sure what the previous owner has done to be able to fix the issue.
Does anyone have any tips as to why it still will not be working?

A bit of a silly question
It hasn't got a manual transfer fitted
Reason for asking if you're not familiar with the Jimny

It could be the 2WD/4WD switch box, mine developed a fault, but it would try to go in to 4WD by itself.
I suggest you go through the Wiki articles on fault finding the 4WD system, link below
www.bigjimny.com/mediawiki/index.php/4WD...ion_system_operation
Have a look at how it is meant to work, then go through the faulting guide, this should at least point you to the right area.
Also a look underneath to see if you have a front drive shaft still connected.
