Which Jimny?

The early third gen Jimnys came with G13 engines in them, not the 8v that the SJ had, but, the later 16v version, and as far as I know, the blocks are identical.

The Gen2 jimny / SJ413 has the same gearing in the gearbox as the Gen3 jimny more or less so swapping have no effect.
The SJ413 G13 engine has 62hp and the gen3 jimny G13 has 80hp.

So i do not see the point of it :)

I am more thinking of it the other way around, but put a Liana m16 and jimny r7me box in a SJ413.
But with Jimny prices now a donor for the wiring and all is not cheap here.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
