So.... has anyone fitted rear speakers in a different location? home made shelf or rear door etc?? just looking for some ideas cos i dont know if the hassle of ripping the rear apart is worth it for some tiny 10cm speakers!

There may be a lot to take out to get to the speaker mounts but it might be worth it as they wont look out of place. I'm looking to fit some rear speakers to my jimny and I'm just going to buy some decent 10cm ones to replace the front speakers too! Also I'm using my jimny as a van so there are no rear seats in it at the min and it only takes 30 seconds to remove the lower side trims.biggaz wrote: So theres the rear speaker holes, these can hold some 10cm speakers like the front however you need to dismantle 98.5% of the jimny to fit them, even drain the gearbox oil (joke lol)

I was hoping that someone might be able to tell me if there is the wiring in the rear for the speakers or will I have to run some new wire to the head unit?

You'll have to let us no how you get on with it. I'm hoping to order my speakers in the next week or so, so you may have sorted yours out before me! I might try and find the wires for them at the weekend when I'm running the battery into the boot!biggaz wrote: there is wires there mate, ive read that from a few places, both run up one side though so needs extending to the other side.
