Looking at Comforser CF1100 tyres. Anybody fitted these & are they any good ?.
BFG & Maxis tyres are silly prices, I now tyres are very important but was hoping for an AT tyre at a reasonable price.

There is a Toyota round the corner from me has them fitted, they look ok, but are probably like all of the mid-priced tyres, will be fine when new but might quickly go off. They are Chinese made and my only experience is with Landsail, which were fine for a couple of years but cracks in the tread soon appeared and had to be replaced well before the tread wore.
I ran Hankook Dynapro for a couple of years, the Comforser look a similar tyre, but I doubt they are as good and there are plenty of other mid-priced tyres out there, most of which will probably last longer than Comforser. I would recommend Dynapro and as well as the less aggressive Yokohama Geolandar.
A slightly lower cost alternative to BFG is Maxxis Work-Drive, I currently run these, they are proving to be excellent.

Thanks for the reply. You are running Maxxis wormdrive & they are execellent.
Maxxis is a Chinese made mid range tyre.
Guess that blows that out of the water.

Maxxis started in Taiwan, and now make tyres in several places which includes China.
A Comforser 15” is £85, a Maxxis Worm-drive is £120, a little bit of a difference.

I now how much each tyre costs. That's the whole point of asking the original question. Second guessing of a product you have no experience off is counter productive & a waste of time. So back to square one, anybody fitted these tyres & are they any good ?.

One of my land cruiser friends has them and wasn't massively impressed with them, cheap but not particularly good value. 20k miles and worn down to only be good for road miles. But his cruiser is immensely heavy almost an inverse jimny if you will.
