Exactly. Look how happy these two are in their own LCV. What's better than 2 Jimnys, 3 Jimnys and so on and so on. You can just keep finding reasons to own more Jimnys and who doesn't want more Jimnys! I'm currently on the hunt for Jimny No.6 to join my fleet as my second daily to the daily to the summer daily to the second summer daily to the once in a while daily

Aaannnyyyyyyywwwwwwwaaaaayyyy. Back to my question I have read the highway code on the matter and the advice is a harness, a cage/carry crate or guard the stipulation being that the doggo is unable to interact with the driver or be injured or a risk of injury I the event of a collision. What it doesn't indicate is what a guard might be made of nor how permanently it should be mounted?

I have a simple seatbelt clip that goes on to our Standard Poodles collar so to keep him from moving too much.  Generally just to either keep him in the rear or front, depending on where I want him to sit.  I do prefer him up shotgun beside me.

Although I have had many a journey with the rear soft top off and him sitting content looking out the back with no bother.
