Clearing the snow off the Gen 4 I see that it all collects in two indentations around the wiper spindles designed to fill with partially melted snow as it slides down the windscreen in the sun and then freeze solid overnight jamming the wipers.

What a brilliant piece of "design". 


 

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

oh so many cars have this.
And a shelf there partly below the bonnet that fills up and in addition clogs the air intake for the defroster making the windsheild full of condensation too.

Seen all these pictures of new cars been tested in the north of Sweden and Finland, but i think they mostly leave the cars in hotel garages and hang out in the lobby bar :)

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

Probably the same designer as set the tpms warning to 26psi!
