Hi Just joined this great site:)
At the moment i am Jimneyless but very keen to own one it ticks all the boxes for me(Budget wise running costs and insurance & tax) the only problem at the moment for me they are a bit like hens teeth in Scotland with only a few for sale 2 that i have seen on the web for sale are soft tops,althoug they look cool are they practical in the winter with the soft top version ? any advice would be much appreciated,thanks in advance.

I have a soft top,it take a little longer to warm up than the hard top,but jimny's have very good heaters.

I opted for a hard top for the added security after having a soft top SJ for a long time but as dirtydogz says the heaters are really good - to the point of having to turn it down on the coldest of days, so they must be good enough to heat a soft top too.
I suspect Jimny's are a little better quality but I hated the condensation in my old soft top SJ though.
