Hi there,
Recently bought a 2009 Jimny and looking to replace the touchscreen stereo the previous owner put in with the original Jimny one.
I have found one online that is from a 2015 Suzuki jimny vvts. Would this still work in my car? It looks almost identical in size and shape.
Would it still function fine if I installed it?

Thanks, Spike

The last face-lift years generally came supplied with a single din unit usually a pioneer dab. They have a proper double din facia so can take an after market double. It's possible that whoever had your car has fitted the latter facia or alternatively have used an adaptor. The point being that on a 2009 the standard was a custom clarion cd radio with round corners. So consequently any double din touch screen is going to work but I would buy it new from one of the main brands, there's lots out there.
