If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

On a UK spec. car you hold the right hand push button in with the ignition on until the menu comes up and Distance Unit is the first option.
If it is a km only speedo it might not have the option.
You have a US keyboard, are you in the USA? Is a 2022 Jimny road legal there?
