Hello,
I'm looking for a bullbar for my Jimny JB33 (1999), I want to get the IronMan Bullbar but it seems like they only make it for the 2012+ models,
does anyone know if it will still fit, or will I have to make modifications, or is it easier to just get an ARB bullbar (my 2nd choice)
cheers,
IronMan Bullbar : www.ironman4x4.com/product/commercial-de...ilters=mms%5B2064%5D
ARB bullbar : www.arb.com.au/suzuki-jimny-1998-2005/bull-bars/

Welcome to the forum. I'm going to assume you are outside the UK and the local laws and ordinances allow you to fit one. There are several variations in the front ends of the chassis over time that correlate with the various facelifts of the Jimny. To that end it is going to require some work to to cross fit different bumpers and frontal protection systems. Doable certainly depending on your skills and facilities. It's also worth noting that some of the allegedly straight bolt on systems can require some adjustments to be perfect.

Don’t know about the fitment. But even if in the U.K. it would be totally legal.

Thanks, yeah from Australia, it is legal here, I just haven't seen anyone try to get a facelift Jimny bullbar onto a pre-facelift Jimny like mine, I'm not a mechanic but I like to think I know my way around my Lil Jimny,
I do have a welding rig so that shouldn't be a problem.
I just wanted to know how big of a task it is, because the ironman bullbar is $2300 AUD which is ridiculous but it is by far the best-looking bullbar (in my opinion)... + all the other bullbars are around $1000.
so do I spend more and make it fit ... or take the easy and cheaper route (leaning towards the ironman bullbar)

As you are in Australia it might be worth reaching out direct to Ironman or one of their retailers/fitters. I'm sure they'd have some first hand experience or know if it is/isn't possible.

Hi zookini22,I'm in oz as well, have you found out from ironman if their ADR is applicable if you fit it to earlier jimny, does your insurance cover cars with bull bars?how much ironman bull bar weigh, you going to fit winch, have you worked out front spring shocky upgrade to cope with extra weight, have you considered vented disc upgrade (Martin sells them in his shop)
