I have a strange thing with Jimny 2015 AT, left sided drive wheel, manual hubs
Suddenly two days ago, 4wd and 4wd Lo lights started blinknig on dashboard, and buttons ceased to respond
The car is stuck in 2wd position
As soon as I open switch the lights start blinking
Video of blinking lights in dashboard

I spend two days in garage, where every possible components was checked and found ok
Actuator was checked and found ok, we also took actuator from other car and tried it - it didn't solved the problem
Fuses, sensors, wiring - all these were checked as well

Mechanics looks ok as well
I am in total confusion and frustration (and my garage guy also)

Does anybody experienced something like this? Any suggestion / recommendation for me what to do and where to look?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum. Have you checked all the vacuum lines and connection that lead from the solenoid valves under the battery all the way to the hub ports to make sure vacuum is being supplied to the steering knuckles?

The small switches inside the control box on my 2011 Jimny went very unreliable, they switched themselves on/off and I got exactly the same as you.

Try disconnecting the 2WD/4WD/4WD-L switch box at the back (green connector) and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't then, it must be in your wiring or 4WD controller.

The selector switch is just 3 switches on a PCB with a couple of lights, it would be easy to repair if you can get suitable switches or do what I did and get one from a scrapyard.

If it is your 4WD controller definately get one from a scrap yard, if you can find one as they are very expensive.

See the following link for an electrical circuit diagram of the 4WD system
forum.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/download/file.php?id=19073

The 2WD/4WD/4WD-L selector box is shown on the right hand side, it feeds the Tranfer Controller Module. The Transfer Controller drives the two selonoids which control the transfer box and the hubs. If you are using manual hubs there is no vacuum to detect, so you must have linked the connection out?

Apparently the Controller can get out of sync with the status of the tranfer box/hubs, see this article

www.bigjimny.com/mediawiki/index.php/4WD...ion_system_operation

If you can't find anything wrong in the wiring or sensors then it could be the Transfer Control Module that has gone faulty.
