Hi, has anyone personally imported a new shape Jimny from Japan? I have some experience of importing from Japan many years ago with Pajero and Delica vehicles. What would concern me is the IVA/ESVA test, regarding emissions, speedo. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has done this before. Thanks in advance

First of all I would order a JB64/JB74 if I were you :)

I have not done it but there are a couple in the UK now I believe. I am sure there is a company that sorts this out for you. I had a look at an "all in cost" and it was below the current price of the used models in the UK. Be aware there are a few specifcation variations.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I did mean JB74, we currently have a JB43, and we're looking to update to a newer model. Because of their rarity, we all now that prices are through the roof, and we need an auto, which seem to be even rarer. Just thinking through some different options.
