That's awesome. Going to have to look very hard at that if it ever happened. As of now though the intention is to keep both gen3 s until I can't get parts anymore.

Update: possibly a trayback/ute variant instead of van and being commercial it is not subject to the EU emmission rules which is where the temptation is for Suzuki. Looking forward to the end of 2020 to see!

So effectively a factory version of the landmaster but with full dealership support and warranty etc. it's going to be interesting to see what comes of this though it is going to need a canopy for it to be viable for me. Waiting and seeing.

Ive just asked for updates from dealers from Newcastle down to York.
All saying same thing, "may get a few every few months" for the next 18 months.
Darlington dealer has a waiting list of 30 so no chance there. A couple said if you want a SZ4 you may get one quicker (12 months). Another said if your part exchanging your 2013 we may bump you up list but ask again in summer.
Think I will be changing tack and moving to a good second hand Yeti like ex regular Halford did.

I've just spoken to a couple of dealers down here in Cornwall - much the same picture: 18 months to 2 years for an SZ5, 'a bit sooner' for an SZ4 and best to keep colour options flexible if possible. Frustration seems to be the general feeling at both dealerships! One wanted £1000 deposit to go on the waiting list which seems excessive to me ("thanks for the interest-free loan, sir"?). Planning to talk to the other one next week. Having taken a Jimny for a test drive (in an already 'pre sold' demo), I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.....
