Is it thought to be a petrol 1.5? Why is that an issue for emissions? Surely there are a lot of hatchbacks with similar engines? Excuse my ignorance on the topic!

Nothing to do with emmissions, just a throwback to an old fashioned car taxation system based on engine capacity.

I see from some pictures today of the brochures that it is even more retro in appearance. They have pictures of the Jimny with a copy of the 1980 graphics we had on the UK models in those days
