The council has fitted metal bollard's with a combination padlock. Anybody local to this area know if this is
just for the Oct - April period or more permanent? Also I understand the is a permit system. Is this for summer
use or can you use them at anytime with a permit? Regards Allan.

and I still have the route to link about 5 of them together into one long route so a little disappointed to find them closed.
If its only a winter closure to protect them and they open for all in the summer, fair play to the council.

Had lunch at the White horse in Chilham to compensate, then did the lanes to the west of Chilham and finished
with a nice long run along the Pilgrims Way. Got back off at Harrietsham and headed for home.

If you fancy a run out in that area after they open in april, give me a shout. Allan.
