Mud Terrain Tyres was created by Dyl
After an evenings laning last night, I came to realise a decent set of mud tyres would be a real advantage off-road in comparison to my AT tyres.

Not an ideal thought as my General Grabber AT2s have done less than 1000 miles, the spare is brand new and they cost a lot of money! But I am now considering going for decent mud tyres instead.

I want if it's possible a pretty aggressive mud tyre but that has decent manners on road, or is not massively loud! Not sure if this is possible?

Would people recommend something like this?

BF Goodrich

Maxxis

Or something totally different.

Also with a 2" lift, do I stick to the 215 75 15 size I have now or change to something bigger if thats possible?

You won't go wrong with BFGs. There are cheaper tyres out there, but BFGs are popular for a reason!

I recently swapped my remould mud tyres for a new set of bf muds. I will never go back.

The road noise is so so so much better, hardly hear a thing, fuel is better, handling is better its a better driving experience on and off road. You will not regret buying these.

Hopefully if I do it I can sell my General Grabbers for a half decent price!

Hankook Dynapro RT03.

Got a set of 215/75's and haven't looked back, decent on the road (for a MT) and very good off road. Good compromise.

Dyl I use Marrix Puma's (215/75/15's). On the road they are fine, in fact the back end is better in the wet than the standard road tyres.

As for fuel economy, I have only noticed a slight drop off (maybe 20 miles per tank less) as I have to cane it a bit through the gears to get up to speed
