My log tells me I'm getting 33mpg. That's mostly hammering up and down the A90 at 60mph. So not bad I'm thinking.
So far as I know everything's completely standard. X-reg, 45,000-odd on the clock.

I'm roughly averaging about between 27- 30mpg in a 04 with no mods and on stock tyres. And for some reason there isn't a low fuel light on the dash either, which did annoy me one day when i thought I'd make it but didn't

I had a look before when i was changing the bulbs being the dash because some of them weren't working or were missing, to my amazement you don't need half of them anyway. But i done a light behind the card where the light would come from and the wad no symbol to suggest a fuel pump, makes me wonder did the 2004 models have that neglected or is it just mine. Just always have to make sure and fill it again when it does hit red instead of guessing will i make it, will i make it

The pre-2005 Jimnys don't have a low fuel light. It's rather annoying!
