also i would like your views on fitting a cosworth engine and box into a jimny as i have one gathering dust in the shed thought it might be a bit different
i have lots of other bit in the shed as well 2 unimog axels ect
i feel the 1.3 engine is a bit small

The sump is above the front axle and therefore out of harms way - so why do you need a sump guard?
You often see steering guards but again the steering rods are above the front axle, so the axle will take the brunt of things on a Jimny - unlike some other 4x4's.
A Cosworth engine in a Jimny will leave you with a pile of broken transmission parts I'm afraid. You'd need to upgrade everything!
