It's obviously been done by people, and it's come to that specific suspension setup...
What could be so wrong / bad about it?
Ive just seen a few people talking about it yesterday at p&p so being inquisitive worth asking folk on here

it can be done with vitara or springs as well some how the bloke I got mine of had done it and it came straight out way to hard crap articulation, no correction for lean and as your saying jimny standards in the rear it would sit with nose in the air or if you mean front jimnys in the rear which should lift but then lean to one side, for the price of proper springs I wouldn't bovver your only be pulling them out again

save up and do it properly once, rather than wasting money now to spend out more in future putting it right.
if you really want a cheap lift surely spring spacers and shock extenders are the way.
