Hi i am looking to buy a standard X rege jimny that has done 70,000 with a m13a engine i have bought many cars before including one offroader so no what im looking at roughly, but wondered if there was any areas i need to look out fore i.e. rot in the boot floor, i am looking to pay £1500 ish and then probably spend double that in the next year or to on making it an awesome offroader/daily commute (all of 8miles :laugh: ) when im not on the motorbike :woohoo: . hope you can all help any info will do no matter how small.

Welcome aboard!
Check for rust behind the headlights and play in the wheel bearings and kindpins (search death wobble for more on this subject!) There is possible vaccum line issues which can disable the 4wd by not letting the forward hubs engage the main sign of this is the 4WD light flashing when 4wd is engaged

Thanks for the heads up i will take a look for the buying guide right away if not google it is. carnt wate til i get a jimny i can start ordering some goodies!

Hello mate, iv just put mine up for sale. X reg 85k long mot few months tax. It already has a few mods too.
