Hi I had 2 odyssey exide on my jimny for 6 years and never let me down ........
I did a winch event where I had to winch a 90 and a disco all day long and they never flackerd ...
I ended up killing them one day by letting the battery strap short them out MY FAULT dum ass......

I not got 2 yellow top optimas which blow away the exides which I wouldn't have believed before ....

Why do you keep asking the same questions over and over again?

Optima batteries are fine. But only slightly more expensive and far superior are Odyssey batteries, PC1500 is a very used battery for Comp use.

Odyssey and Exide are 2 different brands. I have Exide batteries in my jimny. Don't have the money for Odyssey.

not that impressed with red tops - managed to kill one in our old cherokee just by using it every day :(
had to use a snap-on jump starter every couple of weeks as it wouldn't hold enough charge to start it on a cold morning
The alternator had been tested and was fine
