Hey there everyone,

Just a quicky from a super new member, so new this is my first post!
So in 3 months I am changing over from my suzuki vanvan 125cc motorbike to a car... I've been looking around for the perfect car, I didn't want anything "normal" for a 18 year old boy and I wanted something to get me to them hard to reach places in Scotland for my landscape photography!

Anyway lets get down to business.
Just a few quick questions and sorry if this is something that's already been discussed.
When looking for a jimny I'm hoping to get a 2005/2006 but this means ill have to save up loads in the next 3 months, I have enough to get myself a nice tidy 2000/2004 model but I've been looking inside the jimny more and more lately and I really dislike the dash on the older models :/ not sure why, I think it's just I like the radio bein higher and having round knobs and not straight...

Do you think it's better to save up a bit more to get a newer jimny or just get an old one?

Has anyone got like a new radio system built in their jimnys? Like I am looking at one at the moment where you press "open" and a screen pops out which I thought was cool, anyway of getting that put into the jimny? Thought I'd ask you his as you know best :D

Also the most important question -

BLACK
RED
OR
BLUE

hahaa, thanks for your time everyone!

Jack :)

I'd say go older like pre 2001 so you get the cheap tax, also why go for a newer motor for your first car? Have something with a few knocks and scrapes already on it so that when you mis judge how far away that shopping trolley or lamp post is damage won't show too much & you can say it was already there. Not suggesting you're a bad driver but everyone thinks they are good at driving because they passed their test, the apprentice at work is a good example of this, he managed to write off his first zuki swift within 24hours & his second zuki swift less than 48hours later. He then spent the next fortnight making a usable one out of the 2.

And I would say green or gold as I have gold, but I do like the green.
