The standard pipe is 44mm but its the flange you need unless you cut it off

Got a couple of cans don't know if they will be any use? One's a standard GSXR600 can off a 04 model and the others a WR450 can. Free if you pick them up :)

Try to get a slip on can, it keeps things simple. If you get a race can your jimny will be very loud even if you fit a db killer so if you don't want to sound like a corsa with a straight through 3" pipe you will be better off with a road legal can. I tried a devil race can with a baffle in and it was loud so I fitted a Harris can which is road legal and it reasonably quiet but still louder than the std exhaust. Once you have the can measure the inside bore, probably 2" and the outside diameter of the pipe you are connecting it too. You can then order a exhaust clamp on connector pipe off eBay.

Have you had the car through an mot with that in place? A genuine question as i had a car where the exhaust finished short of the bumper and it had to be extended due to the risk of fumes bleeding through into the cabin.
