Ours will not allow vans of any sort, pickups or trailers, unless you prebook, and prove residency.

We get a lot of flytipping (co-incidence) that I have to pay to be collected and taken to the same tip that wouldn't have it the first time :silly:

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

You can tow 1000kg with a Jimny on your liscense. You can go over 750kg as long as the whole "train" doesnt go over 3500kg and the trailers gross weight (trailer itself pluss load) inst more than the cars kerb weight. Jimny weighs about 1045kg dry so you can tow a 1000kg trailer BUT it must have brakes i.e. lost of ££££££!.
Because the Uk law states a trailer over 750kg must have brakes most trailer companys dont make 750kg trailers with brakes so you would have to go for a 1000kg trailer. Ive just got a Ifor williams Eurolight. If you want i can post a pic. The Jimny tows it well and its a usefull size to have.

Hope that helps

Nobby

Maybe its all the blue! You want a silver stallion!
Just sold my ifor williams flatbed :-( but got a good price for it and now its even cheaper for me to hire a trailer its not worth me having my own.
