They have removed a number of items due to lack of photos and perhaps for other reasons but I like it.

Yup, you have hit the nail on the head... The new bumper is just that, a true HD competition bumper... we are also about to launch our new bolt on winch plate in the not so distant future which will fit inside of the stock Jimny bumper... which will fill the gap in the market between the "I need a winch green laning guys" and the hardcore competitors which we are starting to see emerge across Europe.

What about the pay and play day guys who also do a bit of laning and don't need such a bumper but do need a winch bumper like your old design Rob. Can you not continue your old one for them???
Doesn't bother me as my mate will fabricate anything not too fiddly for cheap but not everyone has a mate like mine or can afford that price - but your old one however - fitted the bill!

The HD competetion bumper is just that... competition... no road... and as you should already be aware, "All ORA products are for off-road and competition use"... they have nor will ever be aimed at road going vehicles... hence the "off-road" in offroad-armoury...
There also many other reasons for the new designs, strength, weight, fit, manufacturing processes and material costs...
The new bumper is not even available to buy yet... so hold your horses before you get your knickers in a total twist about the price... this may change once they are properly in production... which will be approximately 2-3 months.

As I said before I find your existing bumpers very good for the type of off roading I do and would be sorry to see them discontinued.

Mmm, might be being a little harsh on us there Rob, and a little short sighted.
I'm hoping the smilies and the LOL mean your comments were tongue in cheek.
If not, I can spend my money elsewhere and was looking to spend some with you soon.
