Storage compartment boxes for Jimny was created by Bigboolies
Just thought id post up.... to share a product that might be of interest to some of you which i am currently having fitted to my Jimny. I have a friend who has a company called Sense of adventure. You can check out his website/facebook page to see the quality draws and storage boxes that he is making for land rovers and other 4x4's at the moment. He currently has not done anything for the Jimnys...until mrs boolies went 'Err ...why you no do for Jimnys??? Eh eh??'.... so my little beast is first (guinea pig) to be fitted with one of his products.
I will be posting up some pics when its all done and some more info on prices etc....but IMO i think these are going to be the bees knees.....so what this space

I'm guessing the rear seats will be lost though, given the Jim Jam's rediculous size!
I suppose the answer if you don;t want to lose them is buy a bigger car!

I have something almost identical to the original company - mobilestoragesystems fitted in the back of my Jimny and also my Wrangler. The wrangler one is a drawer with the side piece with an opening door and is designed for the back of a Land Rover, however a Wrangler is exactly the same internal dimension between the arches as a LR. So strangely is a Samurai as I bought one for that and it just fitted between the arches. When I sold the Sammi I cut down, by removing the rh door, and it just fitted between the roll cage legs in the Jimny. Without a cage it would have fitted between the side panels of the Jimny. Excellent storage as it safe in the event of an inversion(!) and also has a lock for security. Hopefully the one for your Jimny will be as good. However you do have to remove the back seats, but not a problem for me.

Nope....I have two kiddies so cant afford really to have the back seats removed it still needs to be usable as the family run about as well as a toy....well i suppose I could leave kids in a layby somewhere.....no... no need to loose space by taking out the back seats...it will just be a nice modification for the boot area to fit bits in that you need. :0) wont be long bud ....i'll try and get some pics up as soon as i can

I'd like to see that, I'd rather not get rid of my two rear seats, I was contemplating building something in the boot to make better use of the space.

I'm looking forward to seeing this then as my storage system is this:
It works, even when the Jimny is on it's side, but it's not ideal!
I do have the battery in there under all that gear though!
