No, clear Waxoyl then black Waxoyl. That is what I intend doing with mine once the welding is done.

Why clear first? I have a tin of clear and a tin of black, but was given the clear so jumped at it.
Another job on the list of things to do, but need to waxoyl a much bigger car first :-( Then the jimny second as mine is very clean underneath until Sunday when it will get extremely muddy. ;-)

Looks like I better get myself a compressor on the next machine mart vat free day.

Can;t remember. Was told that when I restored an MGB GT. Think it was so you could see where you had already sprayed.. If you tried to put 2 coats of black on top of each other, you wouldn't know where you had been.

I tried some of that dulux white paint that is pink so you can see where you have gone, but it all just looked white to me.
Will see if that works better with waxoyl.

You should be able to get it from local factors for a keen price, if you want to use underbody wax Machine mart sell it, schulz guns very cheap on e bay assuming you have a compressor, there.
Car shows are normally the place to bag a bargain-e.g. Stoneleigh kit car show coming up at Stoneleigh, 5th, 6th, 7th May
