Recently found out if you heat it on the out side first it helps take the shape of glass, still tricky to get on clean though. I got a couple of ripples but luckly their hidden by the spare tyre.

Also anything over a 10% tint on the front 2 windows is illegal and just draws attention from police to your car. Just not worth it IMO.
