Drove up from Frankston to Avenal yesterday morning to see my brother Pete. The bugga wasn't home so I nicked over to the Central Highlands around Yea and scampered around the hills and through the creek along the Bungleboori mail route. The water was only 200mm deep on average with rounded river gravel. A 35c day and pleasant to drive in the spray of the creek bed for a few k's.

Jimny performed faultlessly as usual, roofs off and altogether a great time. Usual regrets of not bringing the camera or video but will take them along next time.

All in all an 8 hour journey with sidesteps to eat and buy some wine then back on home.

Easter trip is being planned for the Wimmera and Little Desert regions of Victoria including the Mallee and Grampians and Central Highlands. Looking to get a few Jimny drivers together for this trip.
