You need a Getrag Manta box, make sure the starter motor on the bell housing is on the correct side, also a prop from matching Manta, clutch is a mish mash of various cars ( just match splines and machine the couple of mm off the plate to fir the flywheel of the Corsa engine) as will be the bearing for the release as it comes up to short so use two bearings instead of one. radiator needs to a narrow one like found in Vivaro, Primastar, Trafic. Also need to build a bracket for the clutch cable to work from.

thanks toph for the info.i need to check my gearbox to see if its the right one,it sounds like your runing this setup in your truck,i was wondering how the gear ratio was efected, dos it lower or raise the gearing in the standerd jimny setup and you had to modify your sump, was there enough clearance for the diff.
thanks again for your help. bari

not fitted yer it sat on a pallet, from finding the ratios online for the box and passing them though the ratio guru Richard (rockwatt) it would seem the ratios are going to be more prefrable than the likes of the LDV and other common conversions.

as for the sump.... not even got to that yet, though 1.7 and 1.5 have differnt sumps so may need to swap for 1.7 which has the shallower pan if i remember correctly.
