Thing's you have broken: Bent a front axle, bent a front diff, bent a drag link, killed a full set of wheel bearings, killed a gear box, ruined head lights, cracked a windscreen the usual panel damage, lost my front flares, smashed a rear R&P to bit's and the EGR valve doesn't work ! :(

Year of jimny: November 2008
Km/miles jimny has done: 59200 KM
Thing's you have broken: The clutch, they said by the garage that I hold my foot on the clutch. But in the end everything repaired for free by guarantee. My antenna in the parking garage because a small traffic sign on the ceiling was lower and 2 flat tires due to nails.

I drive not much off-road, so I don't break much. :P

Year of jimny: 2000
Km/miles jimny has done: 120,000+ miles- 1,500 since we've had it 75% of them off road
Thing's you have broken:
two front halfshafts - using the front diff locker and steering away from straight ahead
two front wheel bearings
front kingpin bearing
4 track rod end joints
two rear propshafts - snapped the rear UJs' in half - now got heavy duty wide angle one
two front propshafts- one with knackered UJs and one with a worn splines
rocklobster mountings repaired three times
exploding front brake caliper
buggered the manual locking free wheeling hubs - stay locked all the time now
bent the roll cage in two places - once leaning on a tree and the rock slider at Wagtail - bottom of the drivers door catches now
collected various small dents on the body - biggish one on the rear door from sliding into a tree
replaced the rear exhaust with stainless - full of water
filled the cat with water (still passed the MOT though)
all four wheel arches are loose / held on by self tappers or cable ties
heater fan only works on full speed and only does hot
destroyed two front seats trying to make subframes for bucket seats - chucked them
all the rear shocker bushes
rear number plate light doesn't like lighting up - especially if its been underwater
left headlamp electrical plug keeps falling out (bit of surface rust inside the socket)
filled the rear drums with mud so have no handbrake and poor brakes each time we off road - now got rear discs
oh and one karcher powerwasher cleaning it off

lost count of wheelbearings, just have a new set every year now for MOT.
Bent rear door, bent front of bonnet, two largish dints in roof, bent A pillar and smashed windscreen up Chapel Gate(but still made it up in 2wd after i sheared the FWH's off). couple of transfer box rubber mounts but thats about it. Lanings not too bad compared to playdays for damage ! Never broken a shaft or diff yet, despite the garage being full of spare shafts/diffs/props !
This shell is about 2.5 years old now.
