My seatbelt does not recoil every time. Is there anything that I can do to remedy the situation.

It's a common problem with Jimnys, you just have to feed it back in, don't worry about it :-)

check the top seat belt guid as some times they get filled with crud I have just trimmed it carefully with a standley and now its like new. This wont do for everyone as some just have a worn spring. you might be able to wind the spring round a few times.

It is actually an MOT fail if the belt does not retract enough to remove all the slack when it is fastened and the seat is unoccupied.

Some testers try and fail it if it simply wont retract when you get out.

Mine won't, I just drop it on the seat when I get out.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Mine also retracts slowly or it has to be fed but takes the slack in when I'm wearing it.
