At the risk of showing my age ,again, I hired one from Guy Salmon for the weekend when they were new, it was either that or a Rangerover which was £1000000 a day. I drove it from home in Aberdeenshire up to Inverness via the Corrieyairack Pass (Google it) on the Saturday then back home on the Sunday after competing in a Highland 4X4 club Trial at Cannich. From what I remember it was more comfy off road than on!!! I've got some old photos of that trip somewhere and got a negative scanner for Crimbo, I'll have to look them out. Ahh them were the days!!!
John.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
