hi mate i had the jimny wobble at 40-45mph when i fitted bigger tyres, i fitted the 32mm wheel spacers and it got worse, but i now had even bigger tyres and its totaly disapered.Its a very common fault on these cars so dont worry too much.

is that because you can now only get it up to 40 mph :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Hi Keith, mines the same - fitted 32mm spacers and the wobble started, then fitted AT's and the wobble stayed. You can get shim kits for the kingpins from Martin but I haven't done it yet.

Mine too! I'm running grand vitara 16" wheels with 215-65-16 pirelli scorpions and get it at 45 some days nothing until I hit a pot hole or go over speed bump? Tried everything (balancing wheels/swapped fronts to back) tried copper washers in king pins aswell, seemed to last a few day then back to vibrating!!

Have just posted this elsewhere but thought it relevant to mention here ....

just before the fuel warning light came on today, I was surprised to find the 43mph wobble had totally gone, however, after filling the tank to the cut-off point - guess what, the wobbles back :pinch:

does this logic work - it looks like the wobble can be solved by slightly increasing the mass at the front of the truck - the only possible way to this would be by fitting an ORA bumper :woohoo:
wonder if I can convince the wife :dry:

i`ve been running about wie mine for ages wie about 16-18psi an no wobble on my 31`s on diahatsu rims
blew them up to 28psi an death wobble is amazing lol
time to deflate again

What sort of spacer's are they?

Are they the sort that just slip on and you have to put longer studs on? Or are they the other type that bolt onto the factory studs and then have new studs coming of the spacer? (sorry if that doesn't make sense- i have had a few drinks :dry: )

Also make sure they are done up really tight ;)

These spacers are the ones that you screw longer wheel stud to the car then place spacer please see picture
